Structure of catalog, indexes, promotions, price generation logic
Architecture of checkout, payment/shipment methods, sales/order processing

70 multiple-choice questions
90 minutes long
Based on Magento Community Edition 1.7
No hard-copy or online materials may be referenced during the exam
No prerequisites, though Magento recommends their Fundamentals of Magento Development course beforehand

Magento Certified Developer Plus Exam

Certification Plus specifically addresses Enterprise Edition concerns in the context of deep-code structure.

85 multiple-choice questions
120 minutes long
Based on Magento Community Edition 1.7 and Magento Enterprise Edition 1.12
No hard-copy or online materials may be referenced during the exam
No prerequisites, though Magento recommends their Fundamentals of Magento Development course beforehand
