Crumbs Bake Shop Reopened In New York City
At 7:30 this morning, Crumbs Bake Shop reopened it’s New York location at 1385 Broadway. Pedestrians were offered free samples and tastings as the Crumbs Bake Shop reopened. The company temporary closed in July. However, in August, they won court approval to reopen their public business.
They have also relaunched their website, where the Magento Flavor Picker is still an option. Users are able to create their own six-pack with detailed ingredients, pictures and pricing information readily available. With each cupcake, browers can see the inside full of filling and outside dressed decoratively. The website still offers the easy drag function to add each cupcake into the set.
Crumbs Bake Shop Reopened, What’s New?
For now, this New York Location is the only store opening, but that will soon change. Crumbs Back Shop will soon open location in Washington D.C., Los Angeles, Chicago, Boston and other New York locations. Other stores in Connecticut, Deleware and New Jersey will flow soon after.
Their sizes still include the Colossal, Signature, Classic and Taste. The newest addition to the Colossal collection is the Cannoli Colossal. The vanilla cake and vanilla frosting are topped with two giant Cannoli. Check out the new flavor at crumbs.com.
Crumbs is also under new ownership. Marcus Lemonis and Fischer Enterprises bought the company in July 2014 to insure that Crumbs Bake Shop reopened. They worked hard for a few months to create a new business plan. However, the company is still using the same ingredients and daily baking operation.
Crumbs Bake Shop also plans to add new baked goods. Eventually they hope to partner with other bakery investors. They have already started a few partnerships, like with Dip-N-Dots. Dip-N-Dops is now served in the new store. By creating new partnerships, it will make them a larger bake shop and keep their doors open long term.
